BlazeFrame RipTRAK is a deflection track with an offset shoulder that represents the thickness of the gypsum board (5/8" or 1-1/4”). A second piece of gypsum board (wall cladding strips) is fit flush to the underside of the slab (w/sealant) or to a fluted deck (without castle cuts & sealant), and is then fastened to the shoulder. This allows the roof/floor assembly and the BlazeFrame RipTRAK to move in relation to the wall assembly. This also allows the wall cladding strips (the rip board) that is attached to the BlazeFrame RipTRAK to slide over the primary wall assembly.

Shaftwalls in elevators and stairwells are one of the most important wall assemblies in a building. They provide the only means of evacuation from the building in an emergency. Without a rainscreen, moisture can intrude past the outer surface of the wall and become trapped in the system, creating issues with rusting and mold growth that can structurally compromise the system. By using ClarkDietrich E-Screen, the water inside the wall is drained away more efficiently and the increased ventilation properties allows the system to dry out more effectively.

The TRAKLOC Stud and TRAKLOC Track systems consists of a traditional-style framing member combined with an interlocking adjustable component. The adjustable portion allows for telescopic length adjustments and can accommodate variances in the slab, minor wall heights per floor, etc. The interlocking component of the stud and track eliminate the need for most connections.

Designed especially for commercial construction, Twin Trac has all the enhanced features of regular Structalath with the addition of eight secondary cold-rolled longitudinal wires that add strength to form a ‘track’ for convenient attachment. Twin Trac can be substituted wherever 2.5 metal lath has been specified. Structalath Twin Trac 2.5/316 is a reduced furr version that is used with 1/2″ stucco systems.
